In 1987, After the hardcore punk group Minor Threat dissolved, Ian MacKaye (vocals and guitar) was active with a few short-lived groups, until he decided he wanted a project that was “like The Stooges with reggae”
Fugazi has performed numerous worldwide tours, produced seven albums  and a film, gaining the band critical acclaim and success around the  world.
